The department of Electronics Engineering was established in 1994. The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching and supporting staff. Apart from academic activities, the department organizes various seminars and guest lectures, intercollegiate Tech-Fest for updating technical knowledge. The department has fully equipped laboratories with modern and sophisticated equipments. The students of the department always excelled in curricular as well as extra curricular activities like sports, art, cultural events etc.
Electronics Department is also playing major role in joint Collaborative Research Project with Konkan Railway Corporation entitled ‘Development of Intelligent Health Monitoring System for Electrically Operated Point Machines of Railway Signaling System at Stations’. Mr. K.K. Warhade is the Coordinator of this Research Project. The R&D work for this project is carried out in Design and Automation Lab of Electronics Department.

The Department offers graduate degree B.E. in Electronics Engineering affiliated to Mumbai University.
