 Aims and Objectives of R & D Cell

Aims::

  • The aim of R&D cell is to create research awareness amongst our students and faculty
  • To establish links with different sectors like Industry, R&D organizations and apex bodies
  • To enhance mutual cooperation between researchers for interdisciplinary research
  • To work towards development of our institute as a R&D centre

Objectives:

  • To encourage and facilitate the interested students from our college in making innovative project for real life application for industry, and society in a broad sense.
  • To enhance the research awareness by conducting events like national and international conferences, workshops on research methodology and patents, symposia, guest lectures.
  • Involve every faculty in research proposal writing and R&D activities
  • Have faster collaboration and interaction with researchers working on interdisciplinary research

The R & D Cell started in 2004. The cell is very active and undertaking projects from the industry and conducts research on the same by involving the students and faculty. Recently, the cell has succeeded in receiving a sponsored and collaborative research project with Kokan Railway Corporation Ltd titled “Design and Development of Health Monitoring system of Point Machine”. 

Mechanical Dept received the AICTE grant of Rs 9 Lakh towards modernization of Advanced Manufacturing Lab, in May 2011 

The R&D cell has managed to get many projects and consultancies with the constant help and coordination from our Advisor Mr. Satish Tripathi.  Our projects and consultancies and their progress report is enlisted as follows:
